Top selling solo artist SIMON WEBBE kicked off 2007 in style with his stunning new single “My Soul Pleads For You” which is released on February 5th on Innocent Records. It’s a delicate ballad about love from a different perspective. SIMON says, “It’s an emotional song about a girl who’s the love of your live, and you put her on a pedestal.” The track combines heartfelt lyrics with acoustic guitars, beautiful strings and SIMON’s now trademark smooth harmonies. SIMON adds that technically it was a hard track to record because he was singing at the top of his register. The B-side is SIMON’s highly acclaimed cover of The Killers’ “When We Were Young”, which was recorded at the BBC’s Maida Vale studios for Jo Whiley’s “Live Lounge” on Radio One. “My Soul Pleads For You” is the second single to be taken from SIMON’s second solo album “Grace”, a collection of twelve perfectly crafted song. Spring 2007 will see SIMON WEBBE embark on his first-ever 18-date live tour of the U.K. which is scheduled for May and June ’07.
