JOY DENALANE ft/ LUPE FIASCO

June 11th sees the release of “Change”, the new single by JOY DENALANE ft/ LUPE FIASCO on Nesolo Records. “Change” is the next chapter of Hip Hop Soul taken from her new album “Born & Raised”. Her recent single “Heaven or Hell” and her album “Born & Raised” have already excited critics here and won many new fans. About JOY’s album, The Observer said “Not since Mary J. Blige has a female R&B artist sugn with such conviction, intelligent lyrics, a stunning voice and collaborations with LUPE FIASCO and Raekwon make this a must”, while Touch Magazine said “At last, a singer set to put the soul back into R&B.” JOY has been globetrotting from her native Germany, where her album debuted at No. 2 in the Album Chart. She recently appeared at the Springgroove Festival in Japan, alongside Kanye West and Lauryn Hill. She shot the new video there for “Change” with LUPE. She is also off to France and St. Petersburg for gigs and just appeared here in the UK at the Southport Weekender Festival.
