ARCTIC MONKEYS

Nobody can accuse ARCTIC MONKEYS of not working hard. The first half of 2007 has seen the band’s highly anticipated and critically acclaimed second album “Favourite Worst Nightmare” top the charts, as did drum-driven single “Brianstorm” and its video of booty- shaking delights. ARCTIC MONKEYS has taken home countless awards and toured the world playing sell-out shows. The second half of the year looks set to be even busier with the band playing Glastonbury, T In The Park, as well as a number of huge shows across the country, including upcoming shows at Cardiff Arena on June 19th/20th, and blowing Manchester’s socks off with two consecutive outdoor shows at the Lancashire Country Cricket Club on July 28th/29th. “Fluorescent Adolescent” is the second single to be taken from “Favourite Worst Nightmare”. The lyrical narration is supported by a striking video directed by Richard Ayoade, starring Stephen “Scummy Man” Graham (“Snatch” and “Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels”) and a rather scary bunch of clowns. “Fluorescent Adolescent” is released on July 9th on Domino Records.
