"Ready For The Floor" is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming album "Made In The Dark" by HOT CHIP. The single is released on January 28th on EMI Records, and the album follows one week later. As last year’s Mercury Award Nominated album "The Warning" proved HOT CHIP have an uncanny skill for creating widescreen pop music that pushes the boundaries of what music can be. "Ready For The Floor" is no exception. Amid their plethora of influences HOT CHIP have always maintained a strong pop sensibility and "Ready For The Floor" is their most accessible track yet. HOT CHIP collaborated with Nima Nourizadeh, who directed their past videos "Over And Over" and "Colours" from last years’ "The Warning."
