ATOMIC KITTEN

ATOMIC KITTEN released “Anyone Who Had A Heart” on Sanctuary Records on January 28th. It’s taken from the album “Liverpool – The Number Ones Album” which is released on February 4th. Liverpool is in the Guinness Book of Records as being the Capital of Pop because more artists with a Liverpool origin have had a number one hit than from any other location in the world. 2008 saw Liverpool officially crowned the European Capital of Culture. To celebrate this event, “Liverpool – The Number Ones Album” is released with all profits going to six local charities. The album brings together some of the best loved Liverpudlian artists recording some of the most famous Liverpudlian songs of all time. The physical album features 21 No. 1 singles, with the digital version including an extra 7 No. 1 recordings. In addition to ATOMIC KITTEN, some of the other artists on the album include The Farm, Ian McNabb, Elvis Costello, OMD, and Sonny J, among others. Charities supported by The Number One Project are Liverpool Echo Sunrise Appeal, Marina Dalglish Appeal, Alder Hay Childrens Hospital, Radio City’s Give A Child A Chance, Radio Merseyside’s Charitable Trust, and The Marie Curie Liverpool Hospice Appeal.
