Genre-busting pop pioneers GOLDFRAPP announce the release of their next single, "Happiness" which comes out through Mute Records on April 14, 2008. "Happiness" is taken from GOLDFRAPP’s critically acclaimed new album "Seventh Tree" which went Gold in its first week of release at the end of February ’08. GOLDFRAPP are on tour now with appearances coming up on April 12th and 16th in Rotterdam and Paris, before returning to London to take to the stage of the Royal Festival Hall on April 18th with a headline performance at the Ether Festival. Now in its seventh year, previous Ether headliners have included Kraftwerk, Dizzee Rascal and Radiohead. Tickets for this show sold out within 24 hours. GOLDFRAPP then head out to the US for appearances at the Coachella Festival in Indio, California on April 25th, San Francisco and New York City on April 26th and 29th.
