AKON ft/ EMINEM

Universal Island recording artist and worldwide phenomenon AKON is about to release the much anticipated follow-up to his multi-platinum epic smash CD “Trouble.” The new album is entitled “Konvicted” and is scheduled to hit stores on November 21st. The first single, “Smack That” features none other than hip hop icon, EMINEM, and was released on Monday. The track is also produced by EMINEM. The video for the new song, considered by many to be one of the hottest releases of the autumn, is directed by Benny Boom. “Konvicted” is almost entirely produced by AKON, and features other guest appearances by his artist T-Pain, Snoop Dogg and Syles P. The talented singer/songwriter/producer established himself as a premiere production and writing wizard over the past couple of years. AKON has produced, written and/or appeared on hit songs for Young Jeezy (“Soul Survivor” – also written by AKON), Elton John, R. Kelly, Gwen Stefani, Beenie Man and T-Pain.
