CAPTAIN are preparing to release their second album "Distraction"this summer on EMI Records. The first single to be taken from the record is "Keep An Open Mind"and is released on May 5th. It’s an "in your face”, bold, soaring pop statement, complete with an unforgettable chorus and huge hooks. CAPTAIN are upping the stakes with their second album. With a new producer, Barny Barnicott on board (The Enemy, Kasabian), the melodies are bigger, the harmonies are denser and the song-writing is braver. "Keep An Open Mind"is an aptly titled, glorious sounding introduction to one of the most eclectic and refreshing albums you’ll hear in 2008.
