SEA WOLF
SEA WOLF release "You're A Wolf" on August 11th on Dangerbird Records. It's from SEA WOLF's forthcoming debut full-length "Leaves In The River" which is released two weeks prior on July 28th. The LA indie-pop outfit play their first UK live tour in July alongside Georgia indie pop-rock stalwarts The Whigs, with a Morrissey support slot at The 02 Wireless Festival. The band's intricate orchestral pop has already garnered much critical acclaim over here, with the March release of their "Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low" EP. With its chilling cello and chiming guitars, "You're A Wolf" combines the best of indie-rock, singer-songwriter depth, Caribou-like electronica and a feel of Balkan folk, with poetic yet edgy lyrics that are matched by quietly addictive melodic lines. Alex Brown Chuch, SEA WOLF's founder and songwriter, tells cryptic tales of gypsies and low rivers, of wolves and wandering men, with warm vocals over detailed arrangements.
