Danielle started backing singing at the age of 16, for a male singer getting his demo together. His managers were so impressed with Danielle that they took her on and she started recording solo material. However, things weren't progressing as quickly as Danielle hoped and she decided to move on. She then co-founded girl group Urban Lady who were signed to production company Xplosive Records, founders of Blazin' Squad. Urban Lady, who were described as 'somewhere between Destiny's Child and Mis-Teeq' (Touch Magazine, August 2002) toured around the UK, sharing the stage with the likes of Damage, Big Brovaz and Blazin' Squad. Danielle left the group 2 years later in 2003, finished university and did a spell of backing dancing for none other than 'Gemini' the infamous 'nil point' Eurovision group! She has now decided to concentrate on her solo work again after 4 years and is working with various producers and musicians. Danielle's influences range from Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys to Karen Carpenter and Dusty Springfield. She has never been musically trained, but has been surrounded by music from a very young age. Music is in her heart and soul and she is determined to follow this love to the top.
