The Regiementz started with the dream and a vision of Marcus Boyd of Musicline Productions andAyene clothing line. Musicline started in 2007, where Marcus met Erine White of Charleston, West Virginia aka e-hype he was a legend in his own right. E-hype and Eric ill taught Marcus how to take the game and make it work for himself. At first he had a hard time with the music so many nights he will stay up late trying to get the right sound, the right flow just to make the music right. A lot of cats would stay in the studio and they use to tell him it sucks and do it over again. He did not know then what they was preparing for him, but it would make me a more complete producer/mc. Marcus has worked with many talented artists and producers along the east coast like: M-Dubble, B-Love, Brain Marshall, Eric gators, Erine white, h-boogie, Dity Hun, Tony mansion, and Congo. Born Marcus lee Boyd in Atlanta, Ga in 1983 his hip hop influence derive from Pete rock and CL Smooth, Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Big-Pun, Lost Boyz, and Common to name a few. His first instinct to create music was at his first Biggie Smalls concert, they way that biggie uplifted the crowd made Marcus say “that’s what i want to do”.
